Well, winter has finally really hit southern Ontario, with cold, wind-chill, freezing rain and snow.
Amidst snow-laden boughs
And through silence
The muffled trickle of a brook
dances across the ice.
A trickle of life
In the stillness
of winter.
Is a promise made --
The Hope beyond these days.
